in 1929, maney opened c. j. maney construction co., inc. company s original offices located @ 50 congress street in boston, later moved lexington, massachusetts. 1945, firm doing $30 million worth of work on wartime construction projects. projects maney s company constructed included boston college s fulton hall, boston college law library, roosevelt towers housing project in cambridge, massachusetts, , castle island container terminal.


outside of construction, maney served director of union savings bank , trustee of boston public library , massachusetts eye , ear infirmary. served president of new england road builders association , treasurer of first franklin parking corporation , first federal parking corporation.
