hamahanot haolim rally


in 1932, hamahanot haolim established kibbutz beit hashita in harod valley @ southeastern edge of eastern part of jezreel valley. since then, has established 41 other kibbutzim.


over past 80 years, hamahanot haolim has worked other youth movements , has changed name several times, has remained true founders’ zionistic , socialistic ideologies. , in 1990, group established city-dwellers, opened first membership groups in kibbutzim.


today, there active hamahanot haolim branches on israel, in cities, villages , kibbutzim. members of encouraged take responsibility contributions realization of furthering of pluralism, zionism , social equality in israel , take part in wide variety of local, regional , national activities such community activities, seminars, hikes , camps. involved in international activities, such holocaust remembrance trip poland open high school juniors.


senior members of hamahanot haolim direct activities @ various branches , overall organization of movement. group leaders , senior members hold national conference once every 4 years. during conference, in addition analyzing past activities explore issues relating current socio-economic situation in country in order adjust goals subsequent programming impact relevant issues. in order monitor progress of various branches in achieving goals set @ national seminars, , provide opportunity idea sharing , cooperation among branches, branch leaders , senior membership attend both monthly , yearly meetings.
