career
early career

lowe graduated john w. north high school in riverside, california, won national scholastic indoor championships twice. won 2001 cif california state meet in high jump , finished second in 2002 in high jump, long jump , triple jump, leading team state team championships. among first successes high jump bronze medal @ 2003 pan american junior athletics championships.


2004 summer olympics

lowe jumped 1.85 m in qualifying round of women s high jump @ 2004 summer olympics , did not reach final.


2005 iaaf world championships

in qualifying round, lowe tied iryna mykhalchenko second in group height of 1.93 m. in final, lowe placed second behind kajsa bergqvist, jumped 2.02 m, height of 2.00 m.


2008 summer olympics

lowe jumped 1.93 m in qualifying round @ 2008 summer olympics reach final. placed sixth in high jump final height of 1.99 m. in late 2016, international olympic committee stripped russians anna chicherova , yelena slesarenko , ukrainian vita palamar of placements ahead of lowe due positive tests banned drugs, resulting in lowe being awarded bronze medal event.


2009-2010

competing in 2009, became national champion clearance of 1.95 m @ 2009 usa outdoor track , field championships, beating amy acuff title on countback. gained qualification 2009 world championships in athletics: reached 2009 high jump final, not repeat past medal performance , finished in seventh place. closed year fourth-place finish @ last edition of world athletics final.


lowe improved indoor best jump of 1.98 m @ usa indoor track , field championships in 2010. attempted tie tisha waller s record, knocked bar @ last moment. @ 2010 iaaf world indoor championships, won bronze medal in high jump clearance of 1.98 m.


on may 30, 2010, lowe broke louise ritter s american record of 2.03 m set in 1988 clearance of 2.04 m in cottbus, germany. less month later, on june 26, 2010, lowe improved record clearance of 2.05 m in des moines, ia.


2012

lowe celebrating win @ 2012 world indoor championships.


lowe capped successful 2012 indoor season winning usa indoor championship @ albuquerque, nm, on february 26, new national record of 2.02m (6 7.50 ): broke american indoor, , championship meet, mark of 2.01 (6 7.25 ) established @ 1998 usa indoor championship meet tisha waller. lowe won competition jumper clear 1.93 (6 4 ), went on clear 1.96, 1.99, scaled 2.02 on third attempt, , made 3 attempts @ 2.04. set meet record @ drake relays in april jump of 1.98 m. on march 10, topped successful indoor season becoming world indoor champion @ iaaf world indoor championships on in istanbul being 1 clear 1.98 m.


at summer olympics, again reached final , again finished in 6th place, result found disappointing because 1 of favourites.


2014

back pregnancy 3rd time in 2013, lowe runner-up in high jump in 1.94 meters @ 2014 usa outdoor track , field championships awarded winner because inika mcpherson disqualified doping. @ 2014 iaaf continental cup, lowe took 2nd place behind mariya kuchina (1.99 m) in season s best of 1.97 m. lowe won high jump in 1.91 meters @ 2015 usa outdoor track , field championships. results less great other years because needed second daughter suffers of autism. participated @ world championships failed clear first bar @ 1.80 m.


2016 : top

during indoor season, lowe came great heights , cleared season s best @ 1.95 m in albuquerque. finished 3rd @ indoor championships 1.93 meters clearance.


back outdoors, jumped wl of 1.93 m in february, won ibero-american title 1.96 m clearance. on july 3, qualifies 4th olympic team winning 2016 olympic trials 2.01 m, tying own trials record. jumped wl.
