the budget - biannual student-edited literature magazine poems, essays, compositions , photographs of artwork
the keg - school s yearbook edited ninth grade
friday assembly - each friday, entire school gathers in small gym, during sports scores announced, school news related, alligator given away, 1 homeroom performs play, , hymns , school songs sung.
the alligator - @ each friday assembly, taxidermal baby alligator presented neatest classroom class held previous week. ceremony involves elaborate skit.
school songs - number of school songs, of them written 1 of school s founders, , collected in red song book sung regularly.
sports day - once year, entire school gathers in central park engage in day of athletic competitions, sports games , races
the debate society - entire eighth grade engages in oxford union / lincoln-douglas style debate once every other week during second semester
christmas carols - on last day of classes before christmas recess, entire school gathers @ church on madison avenue (the location varies year year) sing number of traditional christmas carols.
the singers & chamber singers - there 2 boys choirs, singers , chamber singers
britishness - school has british tone , feel it, , historically many of faculty have been (and continue be) british. aspect of school accompanied respect old-fashioned methods of education
the raffle - every year school has raffle, on 1 hundred prizes. organized several st. bernard s parents , members of faculty.
the shakespeare play - every year eighth grade performs different shakespeare play rehearse of school year.
