characters
initially, players able create own family 5 stock models, namely - fighter, musketeer, wizard, scout, , elementalist. player progresses through game, npc characters can recruited player s family. said characters fighting abilities can customized through learning , developing various fighting stances, in addition equipping them various armors , accessories different options. costumes play large role in customization process, , many have been developed both stock characters , rnpcs.
barracks system
all characters assumed same family. share same family surname used identify player in game. characters generated , maintained within barracks system. allows players see of active characters, , use dressing room create new characters if space permits. each individual barrack may hold 9 characters. each country s version of granado espada provides different number of initial starting slots new account. using in-game money or cash shop, users can expand slots. every ninth slot automatically opens new barrack. therefore, if player has 20 slots, barracks 1 , 2 full , player has 2 characters in third.
based on korean regional server version, there maximum of twelve barracks (108 characters) per account.
trading characters
granado espada allows trading of rnpc (recruitable npcs) or upc (unique playable character) cards between different players, allowing combinations of teams more 1 of same rnpc, player may obtain particular rnpc card once. card used once rnpc created in barracks.
some rnpcs may purchased using items cash shop (bazaar). soso (feng ling), baek-ho (baihu), angie, kurt , eduardo (edward) examples of class of rnpcs (no longer pay in cash shop). cards not tradeable. instead, 1 must purchase mercenary card cash shop (bazaar). using said mercenary license card, rnpc merced , can traded.
premium rnpcs, example, emilia sage, can obtained code provided in granado espada limited signature edition box set. depending on regional server player on, other rnpcs such panfilo battlecook, idge battlesmith can purchased cash shop while ralph available during promotions. japanese server has own unique rnpcs mifuyu, can obtained limited period through quest, , andre de lou-oshiba, recent addition based on real-life japanese comedian. other regional servers starting korean server has since modified mifuyu , released asoka, different stats , stances. japanese server has since released alternate asoka dark-colored scheme compared original mifuyu, sports red/white-color scheme.
factions/clans
a family may join faction (clan). faction can hold hundred players. when faction feels powerful enough, may challenge , attempt complete 2 quests raise faction/clan level 51, 52. upon completion of second quest, faction may choose join either royalist or republican party, in faction members gain buff raises family level.
every saturday evening (north american time) or sunday evening (singapore time) these factions compete against each other in colony war control colonies located in various zones of world map. incentive, factions occupy colony rewarded vis based on number of colonies occupy.
with v7.0 patch, factions may join either lealtad (esmero) or gleichstellung (souveran), secret militant arms of royalist , republican parties respectively. individual faction members can join these secret societies gain access side-quests raise respective factions levels. every 5 members join faction s affiliated secret society, faction s level increase 1 increases members attack damage on mobs 2% per level gained.
in addition, players belonging these 2 opposing secret societies square off in 3 different zones, namely 3 towns of cite de reboldeoux, port of coimbra , city of auch. full-scale alliance war available every saturday, , lasts 90 minutes. opposing parties not have defeat enemy players, acquire items scattered on map or disarm opposing party s leader , his/her followers gain points gain victory.
stances, skills & level promotion
each class has several stances have varying level , equipment dependencies. should noted each stance s level independent character s level. character levels stance gain skill points can used within stance in addition increasing stance s stat bonuses. stance may have 5 different skills unlocked stance levels up. additional generic stances may purchased @ class master, emilia constellation expert stances, while rewarded via quests.
one feature of stances stances have same equipment requirements can swapped on fly using f5-f8 keys (alternatively, using number keys 4-7). musketeer s standing shot , kneeling shot stances examples of this, fighter s guard , high guard stances.
however, stances limited in particular stances may used equipment type, e.g., fighter wanting use roof guard stance have use great sword, rather sword , shield. musketeer wanting use flintlock stance have use rifle, rather pistol. stance usable when learned; unlearned stances greyed-out , unavailable use.
when new player starts out, character starts out @ level 1, while rnpcs or recruits start out @ various levels. when characters reach level 100, able promoted use of 25 shiny crystals become veterans, , in process create new leveling system. in later updates, players gain ability move beyond veteran level become experts (level 110-120) , masters (level 120 , above).
