beyond indications erectile dysfunction, vardenafil may effective in treatment of premature ejaculation, may increase time penetration ejaculation.


adverse drug reactions

the common, adverse drug reactions (side effects) same other pde5 inhibitors. frequent vardenafil-specific side-effect nausea; infrequent side effects abdominal pain, pain, photosensitivity, abnormal vision, eye pain, facial edema, hypotension, palpitation, tachycardia, arthralgia, myalgia, rash, itch, , priapism.


one possibly serious, rare, side effect vardenafil heart attack. also, in rare cases, vardenafil use may cause priapism, painful emergency condition can cause impotence if left untreated.


on 18 october 2007, u.s. food , drug administration (fda) announced warning possible deafness (sudden hearing loss) added drug labels of vardenafil, , other pde5 inhibitors.


drug interactions

vardenafil, pde5 inhibitors, should not used people taking nitrate medications, because combining them vardenafil might provoke potentially life-threatening hypotension (low blood pressure).


further, vardenafil causes lengthening of qt interval. therefore, should not taken people taking other medications affect qt interval (such amiodarone).
