optimus prime sends bumblebee spy on deceptions. overhears megatron , other senior deceptions discussing fact need space test ship s new ion-drive. bumblebee chased area ravage, ironically leading him abandoned railway tunnel suits decepticons purposes. autobots manage locate decepticons position monitoring radio waves , spike suggests take advantage of car rally being held nearby. spike , jazz enter rally , manage slip away , locate decepticons. autobots launch attack, spike , jazz send old wagon train crashing through tunnel, destroying decepticons ion drive.

synopsis

megatron had soundwave send laserbeak learn more humans, despite starscream s protests humans weak , insignificant. observing windmill, laserbeak came contact power lines, became trapped in cassette form , found humans. both decepticons , autobots monitored laserbeak s radio report. hound , spike sent investigate. when discovered decepticons observing windmill, called backup. optimus prime assembled battle unit of ironhide, sunstreaker, windcharger , cliffjumper, leaving ratchet in charge of headquarters. meanwhile, laserbeak taken disco, playing him re-energized circuits , flew off rejoin decepticons. sparkplug explained autobots windmill s technology, megatron interested in mechanical device didn t generate magnetic field. battle broke out on windmill, in starscream panicked when learned windmill immune null rays. rumble destroyed windmill during battle , decepticons retreated, no new technology take. optimus prime expressed regrets on destruction occurred. however, spike points out no-one had idea battle occurred local paper reported freak storm had destroyed windmill.

synopsis

with autobots running low on supplies of cybertronian metals need repairs, kup suggests visiting scene of old battle between them , deceptions see if left behind. search halted ambush decepticon planes. worried how galvatron knew were, ultra magnus sends out first aerialbots cosmos, discovering decepticons have 3 shielded satellites can monitor whole of earth s surface. autobots use artificial northern lights cut out communications send fake message causes 3 satellites, unable see each other, collide, destroying them. autobots salvage metals need wreckage.

the decepticons launch surprise attack on autobot base, leading autobots realise have established base close by. bumblebee follows decepticon recovery crew abandoned warehouse on nearby industrial estate. @ suggestion of spike s father, autobots take position in neighbouring building then, when estate closed holidays, launch attack on decepticons. ultra magnus , galvatron end in single combat , when galvatron appears triumphant spike strikes him wrecking ball before bringing wall down on decepticons, causing them retreat.

the autobots running low on oil hot rod sends chromedome , hardhead investigate nebulan legend underground oil reserves. pair locate oil lake, unaware being observed weirdwolf. under brainstorm s direction, autobots construct pipeline between lake , base. cyclonus , decepticons attack , damage pipe. kup , highbrow repair pipe, better concealing in process, come under attack decepticons. however, manage defeat them luring them gulley full of spilt oil, causing them lose footing.
