floyd began 2012 nfl season backup wide receiver. first career reception eight-yard touchdown off deflected pass in 27-6 win against philadelphia eagles. played in 16 games 3 starts recording 45 receptions 562 yards , 2 touchdowns.


in 2013 season, floyd started 16 games recording 65 receptions 1,041 yards , 5 touchdowns.


floyd released cardinals on december 14, 2016 following dui arrest.

floyd claimed off waivers new england patriots on december 15, 2016. floyd recorded first catch patriot in team s week 16 blowout win on new york jets, six-yard throw patriots backup qb jimmy garoppolo. on january 1, 2017, floyd caught first touchdown patriot against miami dolphins. assisted fellow wide receiver julian edelman on 77-yard touchdown catch , run delivering crushing block dolphins cornerback tony lippett. inactive final 2 playoff games patriots advanced franchise s ninth super bowl appearance. on february 5, 2017, floyd’s patriots appeared in super bowl li. patriots defeated atlanta falcons score of 34–28 in overtime.

on may 10, 2017, floyd signed minnesota vikings on one-year deal worth $1.5 million. after signing vikings, floyd stated: “i excited come home , play vikings. have been training extremely hard offseason in addition taking responsibility , paying consequences mistake. although cannot change past decisions, have learned experience , forward making valuable contributions vikings organization , minnesota community, both player , person.”


on july 14, 2017, floyd suspended first 4 games of 2017 regular season violating nfl policy , program substances of abuse. floyd re-activated on october 9, 2017 monday night football matchup against chicago bears.
