tanum church (tanum kirke) built between 1100 , 1130 in romanesque architecture style. building material brick. church expanded in 1722. during 1900s, church under went restoration , renovated in 1973. church of long plan , has 250 number of seats. renaissance style altar piece designed frederich zebal in 1663. pulpit , baptismal font made svend eriksen svanneberg in 1723. church noted plaster art. features murals 1300s. medieval sculptures include madonna sculpture approx. 1200 , romanesque crucifix second half of 1100s.
