a year after events of first film, gill-man shown have survived , captured different scientists. sent ocean harbor oceanarium in florida, , becomes huge tourist attraction. studied animal psychologist , ichthyology student. psychologist s attempts @ communicating gill-man hampered attraction student. gill-man breaks free tank , escapes ocean. not long before begins stalking ichthyology student , kidnaps @ boat party. gill-man tracked down police , again gets shot multiple times, forcing him flee ocean. tries swim away , supposedly dies wounds.
