this election determined republican candidate 2 statewide offices. secretary of state, rick dancer unopposed.; treasurer allen alley unopposed. no republican filed run attorney general, there 13,043 write-in votes. john kroger, won democratic primary, got 2,885 votes , republican nominee well. kroger s democratic rival greg macpherson came in second 1,391 votes.
