the mandibles have 4 tooth-like (dentate) ridges, lack cutting edges. compound eyes vertically aligned, converge towards front of face or apex. lateral ocelli located closer compound eyes vertex margin. 1 each side of midline, there distinct ridges (tubercles) located along margin of lower facial plate (clypeus). these tubercles denticulate along lateral margin. other facial features include gena more narrow compound eyes. there punctate markings on vertex , gena. on vertex uniform in shape rough edges, separated 1 another. on gena, less roughened , closer together. frons shows more coarse , closely arranged punctures. around eyes, there fine punctures, closely arranged. there narrow areas above clypeus shining spaces, areas of coarse , deep punctuation. head lightly covered short, pale pubescence. hairs more dense on face. pubescence more prominent around antennae, gena, , inner orbits. more white in these areas. become more yellow on vertex. sparse on clypeus. antenna segment f1 twice wide long. approximately half length of pedicel. shorter f2, f3, flagellomeres. apical flagellomete 1.5 times long.
