inter 7 - inter 7 comes in 2 versions either steel or aluminium shell, weighing 1860 , 1460 grams respectively, latter more expensive yet relatively reasonably priced. gear mechanisms operated revo twist shifter or simple non-ratcheting trigger shifter , identical in 2 versions, offering range of 244% non-even interval percentages of 17,14,17,16,17,16.


inter 8 - inter 8 has interval percentages between gears of 22,16,14,18,22,16,14, , total range of 307%, comparable road bike derailleur gear systems, other nexus products, designed , intended urban commuter use. hub comes in variety of versions, weighing between 1550 , 2040 grams stripped. newest high end models internally similar alfine model. inter 8 more tolerant of shifting under load inter 7.
