physical training concentrates on mechanistic goals: training programs in area develop specific skills or muscles, view of peaking @ particular time. physical training programs focus on raising overall physical fitness.


in military use, training means gaining physical ability perform , survive in combat, , learning many skills needed in time of war. these include how use variety of weapons, outdoor survival skills, , how survive being captured enemy, among many others. see military education , training.


for psychological or physiological reasons, people believe may beneficial them can choose practice relaxation training, or autogenic training, in attempt increase ability relax or deal stress.


while studies have indicated relaxation training useful medical conditions, autogenic training has limited results or has been result of few studies.
