the flag officer denmark (fod) commanded entire danish home fleet. fleet s main tasks prevent warsaw pact naval forces passing through danish straits , prevent amphibious landings on danish coast. fulfill mission danish navy fielded large number of minelayers , fast attack crafts. first have been used mine sealanes , potential landings beaches, while latter have harassed enemy fleet continuous hit , run attacks. additionally danish navy fielded agm-84 harpoon anti-ship missiles mounted on scania trucks mobile coastal artillery.

the torpedo boats had mobile base (moba) approximately 40 trucks. moba log supplied fuel, ordnance, freshwater , provided repair facilities outside naval bases. moba ops had mobile radars tactical surveillance , target acquisition.
