in march 2015, traveled london , los angeles write songs new album in collaboration poo bear, damon sharpe, jörgen elofsson, lindy robbins, talay riley , julian emery. year later, mateo delivered fourth studio album, ready?, debuted @ number 3 in spain , @ number 7 in mexico. album showcases mateo s songwriting skills , stands out mixture of british pop vibe, reggae touches, r&b , mature lyrics. included on album singles old school , ready , así es tu amor , when love , mi vecina , , mueve , featuring argentinian singer lali.


to promote ready?, mateo traveled colombia, chile, portugal, argentina, peru , mexico. in october 2016, held important concert far @ sold-out 10,000-seat national auditorium in mexico city, featuring guest appearances cnco, dulce maría, mau & ricky, , rio roma.


mateo featured on ballad version of chart-topping single quisiera , cnco s debut album, primera cita. wrote malas lenguas gemeliers album gracias , rumbera spanish trio lérica.


mateo received 3 nominations @ 2016 premios juventud awards took stage presenter.


in 2015, performed single mellow yellow donovan spanish soundtrack of universal pictures animated film, minions. year later, made cameo performance in portuguese teenage series massa fresca, broadcast televisão independente (tvi).
