gwin crew change point freight trains traveling between new orleans , memphis, , hotel train crews located there. south of town switching yard 6 tracks, wye-junction track branched line traveled east durant. before electrical refrigeration available railcars, large icing facility located in gwin, ice loading onto trains carrying perishable goods. in 1986, railway moved crew change point mccomb.
