after 37-0 defeat of purdue boilermakers, wisconsin ranked first time since loss ohio state.


poor secondary play wisconsin kept hoosiers in game, missed opportunities badgers once again hurt offensive production, badgers recorded touchdown off of 2 interceptions thrown indiana qb ben chappell. indiana scored first points of game on touchdown pass chappell wr tandon doss. badgers answered touchdown drive of own, qb scott tolzien found receiver isaac anderson 18-yard touchdown pass. next scoring drive of game came in 2nd quarter on 26-yard fg philip welch. 1-yard td run rb montee ball gave badgers run of 17 unanswered points, indiana snapped 46-yard touchdown pass chappell doss. wisconsin countered 14-yard touchdown run john clay, , badgers led 24-14 @ end of 1st half.


a scoreless 3rd quarter followed, in 4th quarter, indiana brought game within 3 points on 6-yard pass ben chappell wr terrance turner, making score 24-21 in favor of wisconsin. badgers once again answered touchdown drive, , montee ball found endzone 3 yards out give wisconsin 31-21 lead. not quite finished, indiana scored touchdown 4 minutes remaining in game. after touchback on ensuing kickoff, wisconsin ran out remaining 4:01 despite indiana using 3 of timeouts. 31-28 win, wisconsin moved 7-2 on year.
